Trop l'anglais

It's a small world after all

A month or so ago, I thought I saw some people that I knew from university. As it turns out, I was right. John and Becky have been living in Auckland for 9 months now, and will likely be around for a few years.

I don't really remember much about them. It has been around 10 years since we last talked. It will be more or less like starting from the beginning, but familiar faces are often nice. (Of course, their's were probably more familiar than mine was. They look just like I remember, but I knew them long before I started shaving my head...)

Memory Implosion

Norah Jones was playing the second of a pair of sold out shows last night. I had two tickets, but Emma bailed on me. And then I forgot to go. I was planning on selling the tickets (face value, $89.95 each) and use the money towards New Caledonia. And then I forgot to go sell the tickets.

I remembered 12 hours later. I hope I didn't wake anyone up with my cursing.

But it's done now. There's no use being upset anymore.
